Turmeric Mango Coconut Smoothie
Have you ever considered adding turmeric to your smoothie? Either did I until I explored the many health benefits of this healing spice! Chinese medicine has been using turmeric for decades for its powerful anti-inflammatory properties.
I started sprinkling this golden spice on my dishes a few years ago and after studying that turmeric is loaded with nutrients such as niacin, vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin K, potassium, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, zinc I decided to create this smoothie recipe.
Turmeric provides an abundance of antioxidants supporting cellular health so it is a great post-workout smoothie too!
With only minimal ingredients, this smoothie is easy to prepare and yummy to drink!
1 teaspoon coconut oil
2 teaspoons chia seeds
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup coconut water
Add all ingredients into a high speed blender
Blend on high for approximately 30-40 seconds until smooth
